Things To Do
Casa Amarilla is located on the southern Pacific Coast of Nicaragua, called the “Nicaraguan Riviera”. Beaches and water sports are the primary attraction but the location also provides easy access to some of Nicaragua’s other attractions.
Surfing
One of the most popular activities in the Gigante area. There are excellent surfing conditions in the area, with several breaks within walking distance. Check out the surf map to find the best spots that are close by.
Fishing
Gigante is a fishing village, and it’s large bay provides a great take off zone for fishing trips. The local fishermen take their pangas out every morning or fish from the rocks and cliffs that line much of the coast.
Snorkeling and Scuba
There are two excellent snorkeling areas close to Gigante. The best time to snorkel is in the dry season (December thru mid May). Details and photos in this section.

Sunbathing, swimming and just hanging out is great on Gigante Beach. There are also other beautiful beaches nearby. Gorgeous sunsets and sprawling empty beaches await your visit!
