Casa Amarilla

The house is 165 square meters (1700 sq ft) with a large veranda overlooking the beach and ocean . The home has a large master bedroom with a master bath. There is a large second bedroom with an adjacent second bathroom. Both bedrooms are equipped with very quiet “split unit” air conditioners. The home has a very spacious kitchen, dining room and living room. The main sala, dining area and kitchen has a cathedral ceiling with four ceiling fans. The house is elevated 3 ½ meters off the ground, providing panoramic view of the beach and breathtaking sunsets! The entire downstairs area of the house is paved for vehicle parking and contains a storage room, servant quarters and Manager’s apartment. Casa Amarilla is in the same compound with the Pie de Gigante Restaurant. Both buildings are surrounded with typical Latin American security fence to keep out domestic animals and any wild animals that might venture into Gigante.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove with oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, blender and toaster. There is lots of cabinet space, including wine storage, in the kitchen for storing food, drinks and condiments. The breakfast bar in the kitchen is open to the main sala and dining area with a large dining table with seating for six. All cooking pans, flatware, kitchen knives, dishes and glasses are first world quality. Ben and Ofelia use the kitchen when the home is unoccupied.

Tha main sala is equipped with a 32 inch flat screen television and a DVD player to watch movies. A stero system with MP3 play capability is in the sala. A large selection of movies and music on CDs is available. There is a large dining table in the sala with ample seating in the front sala area for watching movies or just talking about your latest adventure. There is a large built in closet for storing your excess clothing or other travel items.

The master bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed and bedside stands with lamps. There is also a small sitting area in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a large built in double closets with drawers between the closets for storing clothing and other travel items. The large master bath is equipped with a large walk in shower and all the convenciences of home. Towels and linens are provided. The bedroom is equipped with a very efficient split unit air conditioner and a ceiling fan.

The guest bedroom is equipped with a king size bed that can be converted to two twin size beds with bedside stands with lamps. The guest bedroom has a large custom built hardwood double closet with drawers. The bedroom is equipped with a very efficient split unit air conditioner and a ceiling fan.The large guest bath is equipped with a Roman style walk in shower and all the convenciences of home. The guest bath opens into the main living area. Towels and linens are provided.

Accomodations for two additional people can be provided by setting up two twin size air beds in the Sala if necessary. Change of towels and linens is provided every other day by our Manager. Beach towels are also provided.

The large veranda is a highlight of the home with two ceiling fans. Rocking chairs and a small breakfast table decorate the veranda….perfect for enjoying a meal with a glass of wine while you watch the sun set!
